Frontier Fourwheeler's monthly trail ride - 4/29/2001 - to Portal out of Jefferson City, MT.

First snow patch we hit.. time to drop from the tow-pressure of 35psi down to ten to make these tires start to work..

Making an attempt at fighting my way through the rotten snow. It iced up quickly, but we couldn't float on top, either.

OK, Tyler.. I'll let you try for a little bit..

Tyler didn't fare any better than I did! At least it's not just me..

Mike Kelly gives it a whirl..

Our guest, Gary..

I caught Michelle trying to eat all of the cookies..

Whaddya know, more snow, more stuck?

Tyler had an oopsie in his Bronc-up!

And his tire-bead has an owie..

I hadn't really planned on checking articulation.. I was just trying to get out of the way.

Don lines up to start building a road for HIM to bonzai the snow..

Don gets a little sidways..

Meanwhile, Mike's eating..

Some pics of the rest of our group.

Don's testing out the lateral support of his new T-bird bucket seats.. claims he stayed stuck to his seat the entire time..

Sure looks like Don is boring Loretta - looks like her eyes are closed and she's napping!

Michelle didn't think we should take the top off..

Mike didn't quite make it across yet..

It was a short-distance/long-time day. The snow didn't want to cooperate with us, but fortunately we ended the day with no breakage, so it wasn't all bad.
